Mallee Wilderness & Murray Wetlands Bird Photography Workshop – 3 1/2 Days

Bird Photography Overview:

This workshop is suitable for those who wants to learn bird photography and experience the beauty of the unique “mallee” habitats of South Australia. The aim of the trip is to locate the special birds of the region and provide excellent photographic opportunities for the participants. Hence the pace is not strenuous. We have secured access to some new and exclusive sites wherein we will look for Scarletchested Parrot (depending on seasonal conditions), Blue Bonnet, Major Mitchell’s Cockatoo, Gilberts Whistler, Southern Scrubrobin, Black-eared Miner, Striated Grasswren, Splendid and White-winged Fairy-wren, Redthroat, Shy Heathwren and a variety of honeyeaters. We will also aim to photograph Shy Heathwren, Redthroat, Striped Honeyeater, Chestnut Quailthrush, Splendid Fairy-wren, Southern Scrubrobin and White-browed Treecreeper and many more.

We will provide expert bird guiding and photography tuition by expert tour leaders with a guided photo editing / processing session using your own equipment. You can also loan equipment (limited) on a first-come, first-serve basis (tripods, lenses, chargers, laptops, memory cards, pop-up portable hides).
